We are also asking that students leave all costumes, masks, face painting and clown paraphernalia at home as well. Thank you in advance for your support around this matter. Attached is our Celebrations Policy. Fliers will go home to families on Monday this week and next week as well as a robo call next week.

      Student Safety Support

If you see a student running down the hall or towards doors:
      1. Quickly scan for an adult in pursuit of them. If you see one, make eye contact and discretely see if they need help. If we don’t see another adult within eyesight, the adult who spots the child should step in for safety.
      2. If you don’t see an adult say “stop” and use least to most physical guidance to stop them from running/ follow them. Call for help or ask another adult to call for help.

      Open Circle

We wanted to invite all new or returning staff to an Open Circle Snack-N-Chat. On Tuesday October 22nd at 3:30, we will be in the lower school Room 118. If you have questions regarding your kit, bring it with you and if you are new to the building, we can assist you with the curriculum. If you are interested in all of the signs in Spanish, we can make those available to you as well. If you have any questions prior to the meeting, you can reach us at epromponas@bostonpublicschools.org (Eva Banks-K1) and cburke4@bostonpublicschools.org (Christina Burke-Grade 2).

      K2, 1st and 2nd grade teachers

The beginning-of-year window for BAS is open from September 23rd - October 18th. Be sure to find the highest instructional level and a hard level for each child.
