Coaching and Feedback Survey

Last spring we looked at the TNTP survey results and noticed a trend that we were not calibrated as a team when we gave feedback and that teachers wanted more feedback. We have made this a focus as a team for this school year. As a leadership team we have been receiving weekly coaching from the Office of Data and Accountability with Erin Flynn. Below is a short survey that is directly taken from the TNTP survey you took last spring. We are interested in hearing your thoughts and feedback so we can continue to grow and push ourselves to better support you for the second half of the school year. Please note that this is an anonymous survey and we are not collecting emails with responses.

Thank you,

Katie, David, Adrian, Meaghan, Dawn and Eileen

Middle School Dance

Please announce in the blog that there will be a middle school dance in the gym on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 1:30 pm to 2:50 pm. The cost of the wrist band is $4.00. Those students that are interested in helping out must come to my room this Wednesday, January 29, 2020 after school (3:10-3:30 pm) in room 210.

Bulletin Boards

All Bulletin Boards must be updated by Friday, February 7th.  All bulletin boards should have the Curley template posted with it. Please be mindful that the boards should have grade level work posted that connects to a content learning standard. This is a perfect time to update board prior to families attending a Family Engagement event. This is a great project for a student teacher and/or a set of responsible students. It is important that things are stapled up in all corners. Please note that you can share whole group learning (number talk, sample of writing process, response to reading etc....) The work does have to be perfect we prefer authenticity. Bulletin Boards make our hallways feel warm and welcoming and help us celebrate our students.

SAVE THE DATE – Lexia Training
