A new instructional bulletin board should be up by Monday, November 30th. We know that not all boards have been hung up yet and we apologize for this. Please know that we have not forgotten about you! There has been regular reminders sent to facilities to get these boards hung and we are waiting on space in a specific persons schedule to make this happen. You need a special insurance to be able to hang these. Make sure that you are hanging work up inside you class! Also all boards should be accompanied by this form.INTERNATIONAL WEEK UPDATE
Now that countries have been selected, it’s time to gather resources. This would be a great time to reach out to families! Please contact Amika and/or talk with your City Year Corps member (grades 3-8) if you would like help. Be sure to schedule time(s) with your Big-Little Buddy colleagues to visit one another’s classes on Monday &/or Tuesday, November 23rd/24th. As part of our professional practice goal we will be tracking whole school improvements in implementing UDL practices. The first of 3 walkthroughs will take place November 10th. A range of classes will be visited by ILT members for approximately 15-20 minutes. During this time, ILT members will be taking low inference observation notes. This walkthrough in not evaluative and data will be shared through the ILT.Flu Shot
Representatives from Rite Aid will be coming to the Curley School on Tuesday 11/10 to administer Flu Shots to our staff. This Flu Clinic will run from 11am-12:30pm in the Lower School Office conference room. If you would like to receive a Flu Shot, please bring your Health Insurance Card with you that day. Rite Aid accepts 99% of Health Insurances for flu shots. Please direct any questions about the Flu Clinic to the Nurse's Office.November 25th
We will have an early release on November 25th. This means that we will dismiss students starting at 12:25pm and all adults can dismiss starting at 12:45pm. There will be no after school programming on this day including CASP, Tenacity and City Year.Middle School 1st Term Grading Window
