PD

We will be running the vote on Thursday, April 5th for the make up PD date.
The choices are:
May 3rd
May 10th
The time will be 3:45 - 5:45. (This is for teachers unless paraprofessionals owe time from a missed day in the summer)
On April 5th we will also be voting on whether or not to distribute out January 2nd PD hours.
All teachers and paras are required to attend 6 hours of PD on January 2, 2109. We have the option of distributing these hours throughout the year, which means that PD will not be held on January 2.
On April 11th we will be voting on our fall Open House date AND how to distribute our 30 teacher PD hours and 6 para PD hours.
Please feel free to contact your BTU representative with any questions!

Happy Teacher Challenge!

Thank you to everyone who sent in pictures and emails for week 3 of the Curley K-8 Happy Teacher Challenge. Please keep them coming! Each picture or email you send is a separate entry.

For week 4 we have two more challenges for you! This week, as you prepare for MCAS we have two challenges that promote taking a quick break. You'll find a flying lion coloring page in your mailbox Tuesday. Use it to take a break and color, some say it reduces anxiety! Our second challenge is to take a movement break (Ms. Tefera loves GoNoodle) with your students using a song that makes you happy. We'd love to know what it is so we can put together a Curley playlist! Here's to a happy week!
