Shout Out
Shout out to the 7th/8th grade teachers! Thank you for putting on the portfolio presentation Wednesday. It was wonderful. I got to speak to 7 students and they all did an incredible job. I heard about the grievance-filled Declaration of Independence, the powerful book Inside Out and Back Again, how heat is conducted and how to find a slope using two points. My highlights were listening to a student I had in SLIFE years ago clearly explain his learning and Angel's blackout poem almost had me in tears. Kudos! I look forward to doing this again next Trimester!Due Dates

Winter Coat Drive
With temperatures continuing to drop, the guidance team is making finding each student a winter coat before the holiday break a priority. While the SPC coat drive is hugely helpful towards this aim, we recognize that the two students per class limit might make it difficult to meet our goal. We are therefore working with a community partner to accumulate additional coats.
If you have a student who might need a coat who has not already turned in a coat drive form, please add them to the Google doc below so that we are able to get him/her one!
