Climate Team Meeting

Reminder that the Climate Team will have it's first meeting tomorrow in Room 212 (Ms. Hins) from 3:00pm-4:15pm. Please send a representative from your team.

PD

Reminder that PD is for ALL STAFF (Teachers and Paras) on Thursday from 3:00pm-4:00pm.

Tenacity

On Saturday, September 26th Tenacity will have its 1st ACE Festival at Madison Park High School from12pm-4pm. The entire Tenacity community is invited to celebrate the kickoff of the school year with a day full of games, food, and fun. We would love to have you come out and support the Tenacity program! Social Justice Mediation Institute (SJMI) 

This Friday (09/25) there will be an information session to learn more about Vital Village Network’s Peer-Advocate Action Roundtable sponsorship of FREE training to become a Social Justice Mediator. Mediation is used to resolve conflicts at courthouses, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and with families. This training will help participants learn how to use mediation skills to help reduce conflict and improve neighborhoods and communities! Following training, SJMI graduates participate in 8 hours of required community service using the skills they have learned.

  This is an intensive 40-hour training and attendance is required on all of the following dates:
  Saturday 10/10, Sunday 10/11, Monday 10/12, Saturday 10/17, and
  Sunday 10/18 from 9:00am – 5:00pm.

  Orchard Gardens Development Office, 25 Ambrose St., Roxbury, MA 02119.
