Shout out

Shout out to Madeline Vazquez for caring about her colleagues and giving out free (delicious) food on Friday morning. It certainly helped to bring a smile to everyone's face before their work day began. Thanks!

Please send the completed forms to Caitlyn in the lower school or Eileen in the upper school a soon you can, but no later than end- of-day Thursday, October 1.  Student's  “shout out” will be matched with their picture, and both will be posted on bulletin boards on either the first floor main hallway of the upper school or in the runway between the upper and lower school. Students will be individually recognized at the next Curley Shares with a certificate and “Readers are Leaders” bracelet. Please contact Caitlyn or Eileen if you have any questions.

Please assure that all students have returned a completed Emergency Card form. Homeroom teachers should keep a copy for themselves and make a copy for the main office as well as the school nurse.

EDFS Goals

Thank you to 100% of staff who completed their Self-Assessment on time! There were a few glitches but those were computer based and we appreciated staff communicating this with us. School goals should all be uploaded by Friday, October 2nd. Here is a link to the goals we shared with staff at our opening day PD. Staff should assure that they are collecting artifacts to show the work they are doing to achieve these goals.

Teams must complete all writing rubrics by Friday, October 2nd. If your team needs support please reach out to Eileen Cronin (3-8) or Caitlyn Gable (K-2).

Last call to sign up for the Teach Plus courses! We are offering two at the Curley that directly compliment the work for our school goals. (writing and UDL)
